Commonly called White Bird of Paradise, this plant has long slender stems with large fan like leaves. It’s a tropical staple and really adds a rainforest effect to any space. Place in a position that receives direct sun light for as many hours as possible. Keep soil moist but not soaked, do not let the plant stand in water to prevent root rot. Water when the top 2cm of soil dries out during the growing season, water only when soil is close to being completely dry during the winter months. Use well draining water retaining soil.
